slipping away

I feel like time is just slipping away.  Almost as if someone has hit the fast forward button on us.  Everything lately has been a blur. I am not sure why. Maybe we are getting over the winter blues. Maybe we are keeping busy to keep Liam from having melt downs. Maybe we are keeping busy to prevent ourselves from having a melt down. I feel like I have a ton of "to-do's" on my list and as one gets crossed off, three more get added on. And today is only Wednesday...

We need to take some time to stop and  smell the roses tulips. Hoping we can do that this weekend.

flash friday

Happy Friday. Friday is finally here! Lots of good stuff going on this weekend. Hopefully Mother Nature shines rather than rains on us this weekend. So no good photos to share...yet. I do have this one:

I finally read The Hungers Games trilogy. It took a little over a week to get through all three books.  I probably could have neglected all of my adult & parenting responsibilities and got through the books in a couple of day, but I decided to keep it responsible. Now I understand this whole Team Gale or Team Peeta ( personally, I am Team Peeta), & Real or Not Real.  Now I need to decide if I want to watch the movie or not. Maybe I should let my heart stop beating so fast and stop sweating before I make that decision.

wlw

WLW= What Liam Wore. Sometimes bloggers do this. They snap a photo of themselves and then share what/who they are wearing. Since I have about as much style as a gerbil I have never done that and never will. Liam on the other hand has his own style and I find it to be funky and adorable.

Here is the first installment of WLW:

Boots: Toy Story Rain Boots (Buzz Light Year)
Shorts: Circo (Target)
Shirt: Paul Frank (Target)
Hat: Crazy 8 (Crazy 8)

eggscelent

Easter. It was a great day. Liam was amazed that the EB came to our house and decorated it with several rolos, boxes of raisins and of course, M&M's. He was very excited to find all the eggs the EB left at the house...every time he would find a new egg he would say "How dat dit there?"We kicked the day off with chocolate, church, family and some yummy food.

summer was here

Remember when we all thought we were having an early summer in March. It was 80 degrees outside, the birds were chirping and bubbles were being blown?

Oh, she is upstairs waking up Liam. She loves him and loves to try to kick him out of bed so she can snuggle in his bed...good thing Liam is a good sport...most days.

Good morning Ollie!

Where in the bed is Liam?

going under, bunnies and eggs

Our weekend was amazing. Our weekend was non stop. Our weekend went by way too fast and I am sad.

I got to swim with Liam this week at swim class. The water was freezing, the "instructor" didn't do too much instructing, but we had fun. One on one time with Liam is good, even if we both were teeth chattering cold. I am pretty sure Liam hated me for about five minutes. During one of the closing songs, Ring Around the Rosie,  I may have dipped Liam under water. He recovered and after seeing that other kids also went under, he didn't hate me as much.

Then we headed over to church for an Easter egg hunt! Liam and Dylan had a blast. They were very excited to find the eggs and even more excited to nosh on their booty- especially the Rolos.
When we returned to church on Sunday, Liam was still looking for eggs

We ended our day with visiting little, fluffy, bunnies! Photos soon to come...
