bed head

Weekend snuggles are the best. Liam usually brings at least four stuffed animals, his blankie and a hard toy that always ends up digging into my rib cage into our bed. Olive will sometimes join us, too. Although she usually takes cover under the bed. And some mornings, Liam also brings his killer bed head into our bed.

post nemo

Well, it wasn't as exciting as were we led to believe. Which in the end, I suppose is probably for the best.

Even though we were disappointed, this little guy was in awe...

"This is amazing" is what he said when he took his first look out the window this morning.

& then things got even more amazing!

february

So here we are in the 2nd week of February. I feel like so much has gone on in the past month or so, but really, not all that much has gone on.  There was my birthday. Liam got sick. Then I got sick. We visited TCBY (Liam's current favorite place...ever!). I got schooled in "Bad Piggies" by a 3 year old. We planned a trip to Florida or as Liam likes to say "we are going to visit Mickey's house". A year has passed since we lost our two little hearts. Andrew launched the Lunchbox Brain store. We are still debating if we should sell the house, have a kid or do both.  Liam is all set for his speech & language eval next week and I need to register him for Pre-K! Pre-K! And now we are awaiting this storm and hoping to be snowed in.  Fingers crossed and the snow shovels are ready!

Folk, we are getting some snow; 8-14 inches of the pretty, white stuff. Hoping we get snowed in. Hoping to build a snowman. Hoping Mother Nature comes through!

superbowl

Andrew: "Liam, who do you want to win the superbowl: The Ravens or The 49ers?"

Liam: "The raisins."

elmo

Elmo's super heroes. It was a fun time...until the intermission...when there were a hundred Elmo head balloons brought in to sell for $10 each....$10! Fortunately, Liam was so engrossed in the stage, Elmo and everything else going on he didn't even blink an eye at those balloons. The worst part was that after all those  parents spent the ten bucks, it was requested that all balloons be stored under their seats for the remainder of the show. The nerve.

The show delivered a great message to the kids & families: eat your veggies, brush your teeth and sleep! I think Liam got the message loud & clear because he slept for 3 hours after the show! That won't happen again until he is a teenager.
