flash friday

Friday is finally here.  After three outfit changes for Liam and one for Andrew we were finally able to get out of the house this morning and  get our day started. Between spitting up and drool, Liam ( & his victims) go through outfits frequently. I guess it could be worse....right?

Let the weekend begin!

4months.

Happy 4 months Wiggy!! Can you believe that you are 4 months already?? I can't.

As you grow, you become more and more amazing to your dad and I. We love to watch you explore the world. You squeal in delight when we go outside for walks, you smile when we put you in your car seat and when you are in the stroller you are always looking around and have the look of curiosity on your face. Speaking of faces, you love to look at them, especially photos & your own in the mirror.

While I love that you are small, snuggle perfect size and still a little peanut to me, I simply can not wait for you to grow and get bigger. I can not wait to hear you say first word (which I think your dad believes will be dinosaur, he has high expectations kid!), for you to crawl, to take your first step, to have that first lonely tooth, to watch your naked feet touch the grass, I could go on and on. While I can't wait for these events to take place in our lives, I also wish I could slow time down, just a bit...

Happy four months of life on the outside! I love you to the moon & back.

bumbo

The bumbo is pretty awesome. I wasn't totally sold on it at first, I thought maybe it was just another thing to spend money on...but now that Liam has been using it, it is one of my favorite items to have around. Liam will sit in it and just observe what is going on around him. The pugs love it because now Liam is at their level and this give Olive a chance to show her affection towards him...lots of kisses and ear sniffs. This morning he wanted to sit in it and I plopped some entertainment in front of him. He are some shots that captured the before, during and after...

Beginning to drift off ( I was right there, in case he really drifted out)

Out and off he went to his crib for some zzzzzz.

flash friday

Overall, this week was pretty good. The weather has been phenomenal. I have been taking the pugs for walks after work while wearing Liam in the Baby Bjorn. First off, Liam loves exploring the neighborhood. But I also need to share that Liam is the talk of the neighborhood. People have been stopping their cars to see him (not kidding, I thought we were going to be abducted), coming out of their homes to meet him and I even heard one woman talking on the phone to someone about him. You would have thought I was wearing Justin Timberlake in the Baby Bjorn the way people are reacting. It is pretty entertaining.

"Get out of my photo, dog!"

the "t" word

Well it was going to happen, but I was hoping that we had at least another month or two before the "t" word entered our lives...TEETHING! Liam has started the teething process. He has been drooling for a while now, chewing on his hands like crazy and now there is a tiny white cap on his lower gums.

So, not only is he teething, but this means that at some point he will have these teeth, that ultimately will fall out and will be put under his pillow. Kids who have these teeth that are on the verge of falling out freak. me. out!!! Over winter my God Daughter's tooth was hanging by a sliver of gum...ughhhh I get the shivers thinking about it. Now that I have thought about it, I think I fear Liam losing his teeth more than than him teething.

Could he really be starting to teeth already? All signs point to teething.

flash friday

Happy Friday. Liam kicked butt this week. First real roll, a lot of squealing and his car seat no longer has his head support and the straps needed to be adjusted up to the next level. We even busted out the baby bjorn and got outside for a bit since the temperatures have been baby friendly.

Be prepared to a laugh. It is only 6 seconds long, but such hard work for a little guy.

changes

So here is just proof of how much Liam has grown in the past couple of months. While I have noticed the car seat getting heavier to lift and most of his outfits don't fit anymore, it sometimes is still hard to really recognize how much he really has grown (I do see him everyday). We bought this hat the day after Christmas. It was huge on him then:

flash friday

Friday is here, finally. This week was yet again, another busy one. Work, daycare, meeting with Mother Ginny (who is baptizing Liam), trading in the old jeep for a new one, Zumba, keeping up with the pugs, enjoying family time & realizing I am totally neglecting this blog.

This week I am posting two videos of Liam. They will give you an idea of what he sounds like when he is excited and when he is talking in that baby language. It will also give you a glimpse of the wild side to Liam. Please excuse the background sounds. Enjoy and TGIF!!!!
